But that&#8217;s only half the battle.  Using Hinge prompts <em>properly<\/em> will have a tremendous impact on your results. The more challenging, creative, and interesting you make these, the more effective they will be.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lifestyle snapshot:<\/strong> You can showcase various aspects of your life, all in one prompt &#8211; adventure, unique events from your life, accomplishments, etc.  The more diverse each response is, the more you will be able to spark attraction in a multitude of ways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Intrigue factor:<\/strong> When done right, it leaves your reader thinking <em>\u201cWait\u2026 I need to know more.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>They&#8217;re fun:<\/strong> On the most fundamental level, people like to play games and want to &#8220;win&#8221; when they guess correct. Those types of truths and lies are not going to inspire someone to message you, let alone start a meaningful connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When using this Hinge prompt, every statement should serve to tell a great story about you. Think of them as mini marketing hooks. Most people use the lie as a throwaway line or something that&#8217;s obviously fake. <strong>But here\u2019s the better strategy: make the lie closely resemble a real story about yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say I actually went skydiving in Thailand. Instead of using that as one of my truths, I\u2019d tweak it slightly and write my lie as: \u201cI once went skydiving in Kenya.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Why? Because if someone guesses that as the lie, it sets me up to naturally share the real story about Thailand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHaha, yep \u2014 that one\u2019s the lie\u2026 but I <em>did<\/em> go skydiving in Thailand!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach accomplishes two things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It adds surprise and depth to the conversation \u2014 instead of just saying \u201cnope, that\u2019s fake,\u201d you immediately reveal something exciting about yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It makes the lie work harder<\/strong> \u2014 instead of being a throwaway, it becomes a smooth transition into a real story that\u2019s still impressive and engaging.
