Copy and Paste These Hinge Prompt Answers for Insane Results
By Joshua Pompey

Getting noticed on Hinge isn’t always easy. You can have great photos, an interesting career, and a life you genuinely enjoy, but if your Hinge prompt responses are boring, you will fail.
Unfortutely, most men approach their dating profiles the wrong way, writing the same generic responses over and over.
After reviewing more than 25,000 dating profiles and spending over 15 years helping people succeed on dating apps, I have learned that the best Hinge prompt responses involve much more than simply describing who you are.
The best Hinge prompts also make a woman laugh, spark curiosity, create a playful disagreement, and give her an easy opening to message you.
That is exactly what we are going to focus on here.
Below are five of the best Hinge prompts to attract women, complete with copy and paste answers and practical advice on how to use each one.

One of the best Hinge prompts to attract women is the prompt “Change My Mind.” And with this prompt we are going to pair it with the following response:
“The middle seat on a plane is the superior seat…”
Now, I know what you’re thinking…
Absolutely not.
What kind of masochistic monster would prefer the middle seat, right?
What are you going to tell me next, you get titillated waiting on line at the DMV?
The notion that you prefer the middle seat is absurd.
But that’s exactly the point.
One of the easiest ways to grab someone’s attention on Hinge
is to give them an opinion that is so impossible to agree with that they can’t help but react to it.
The sheer curiosity alone is enough to make them think, Ok, I’m gonna need an explanation here.
Instead of saying something generic like, “I love to travel,” I’m giving the other person something they can immediately agree with, disagree with, or challenge me on.
So let’s suppose she responds with:
“Okay, I’ll bite… how on earth is the middle seat better?”
Now we’ve set the stage for playful banter instead of generic, boring small talk.
But now you might be wondering, okay, we got a response… but now what?
Am I supposed to just pretend I like the middle seat now?
Nope. I’m going to use it as a springboard to be playful and engaging.
I’ll respond with something along the lines of…
“Middle seats build character. That’s how I became the strong, resilient man that you will soon become fascinated by… ”
And just like that, we’ve created a playful back-and-forth / and set the stage for flirting.
And that’s the real goal here:
While we want some of our Hinge prompts to focus more on revealing important information about ourselves, sometimes the best hinge prompts for attracting women are the ones that disrupt the competition and give a woman something to react to.

The Hinge prompt: Change My Mind
The Response: “Chick Fil A is insanely overrated. I’ll die on this hill.”
Alright, let’s move on to prompt number 2 where we take things in a slightly different direction.
So for this prompt, we are going to use the change my mind prompt once again and write…
“Change my mind: Chick-fil-A is insanely overrated. I’ll die on this hill.”
Now, if you’re one of those people who thinks Chick-fil-A can do no wrong, you’re probably already getting worked up here.
I can practically feel your chicken-fueled rage boiling through the screen.
And this type of reaction is exactly what we want.
The reason I chose Chick-fil-A is because it has an almost cult-like following, which makes it perfect for getting a strong reaction.
If I said something like “McDonald’s is overrated,” you might disagree, but you’re probably not going to feel nearly as passionately about it.
Nobody out there is going to bat for the secret sauce on a Big Mac.
With Chick-fil-A, people have loyalty. And when someone feels loyal to something, they’re much more likely to jump in and defend it.
But say something bad about Chick-fil-A, and suddenly you’ve got people ready to defend their honor.
Because let’s face it…
EVERYONE likes Chick-fil-A.
And if you don’t, you’re a monster.
Sorry, Mom.
You’re a monster.
But here’s the important part: don’t turn this into an actual debate.
The goal isn’t to prove that Chick-fil-A is overrated. The goal is to create a playful disagreement that gives her an excuse to engage with you.
And when she takes the bait, have some fun with it.
Alright, I mean… if you wanna slum it on a first date over a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries, I’m willing to let you make your case.
And just like that, a ridiculous opinion about fast food has turned into an opportunity to flirt.

Alright, let’s move on to the next best hinge prompt for attracting women.
This time, we’re going to use “Let’s debate this topic” and send the message…
“Domino’s Pizza hits way better than a NY slice at 1AM. Prove me wrong.”
And don’t worry if you don’t live in NY or a city that stays open late, I have a way we can alter this message that I’ll reveal in a minute.
But if you live or grew up in a city with great pizza, you know how ridiculous this sounds.
I mean, what kind of uncultured heathen would prefer Domino’s?
We live in a civil society, for God’s sake.
Once again…
I’m sorry MOM!
But nonetheless, this is exactly what makes it work.
And now I’ve given someone an incredibly easy opening to message me:
“You cannot be serious. LOL”
And that’s all we need. I could now respond with…
Oh, I’m serious. You must just have terrible taste…
But we can take this disagreement to the streets.
Do I see a pizza crawl in our future?
And that’s the beauty of this strategy.
We’ve gone from a ridiculous disagreement about pizza to playful banter to potentially making plans for a date.
Now, if you don’t live in New York or somewhere where you can walk out at 1AM and grab a great slice, here’s an alternative you can use:
“Let’s debate this topic: Pineapple should always be put on pizza.”
Similar concept, but the result is the same.
Most people have a pretty strong opinion about pineapple on pizza. So now you’ve created another harmless disagreement that hacks attention and gives someone a reason to engage.

The Hinge prompt: I Recently Discovered That…
Copy and paste answer:
“I’ll low key listen to Taylor Swift, but only if it’s the song about her ex.”
This prompt takes a slightly different approach.
The first three answers rely on playful disagreement. This one uses humor and a familiar cultural reference to catch someone’s attention.
Taylor Swift has an enormous fanbase, and the running joke about her writing songs about her exes is widely recognizable. By putting your own spin on that joke, you create an answer that feels more entertaining than a generic statement about your music preferences.
It also works whether the woman reading it is a Taylor Swift fan or not. A fan might jump in to defend her music, while someone who is not a fan might simply appreciate the joke.
Suppose she responds:
“Wait, so you’re secretly a Taylor Swift fan?”
You could say:
“Shhhh. Closet Swiftie here. Just waiting for the right time to come out. Any advice?”
Now you have a playful exchange that reveals a little personality without requiring a lengthy explanation.
There is an important distinction here. You are not simply naming an artist you listen to. You are taking a recognizable idea and turning it into a joke that someone can respond to.
That is what makes the answer more engaging.
Why this is one of the best Hinge prompt for attracting women so easily: It uses humor and a familiar reference to make your profile feel more personal. It also gives women who recognize the joke an easy way to connect with you.
You can adapt this approach to other artists, movies, television shows, or cultural references. Just make sure the reference is recognizable enough to land, and avoid forcing a joke about something you know nothing about.

The Hinge prompt: Change My Mind
Copy and paste answer:
And this next one has always been one of my most successful attention-hacking prompts for attracting women.
We’re going back to the Change my mind prompt, but this time we’re going to take the concept to an entirely different level.
“Change my mind: People who push through the aisle at the end of a flight should be exiled to spend an eternity at baggage claim.”
Now, if you’ve ever flown before, you know exactly who I’m talking about.
The plane lands, the seatbelt sign turns off, and suddenly somebody six rows behind you is trying to squeeze past everyone to get to the front.
Now, if you’re one of these people…
Get it together, man. Were you raised by animals?
Never push women and children out of the way!
Unless, of course, there’s a fire…
Then it’s every man for himself.
Sorry, wifey. My seven fans need me.
But back to the prompt…
Oftentimes, the best attention hacks are the ones that everyone can relate to.
And this is definitely one people can connect with.
I’m taking an incredibly relatable annoyance, exaggerating the punishment to a completely ridiculous level, and giving someone something they can immediately react to.
Maybe she responds…
“I think you are being WAY too soft on your punishment.”
And I respond…
“I’m a nice guy, what can I say? We are a rare breed on this app.”
And just like that, / we’ve once again turned a ridiculous opinion into playful banter.
And that’s really what attention hacking is all about.
These are not magic formulas, and no Hinge prompt can guarantee matches or dates. Your photos, overall profile, preferences, and how you communicate all play a role. But giving women something specific to respond to is a smart way to make your profile more engaging.

Sometimes the difference between an average dating profile and a great one comes down to the details.
Your photos might be great, but your prompts could be completely underselling your personality. You might be describing yourself in ways that sound perfectly reasonable but fail to distinguish you from the thousands of other men on the app.
That is where professional help can make a difference.
At JoshuaPompey.com, we specialize in helping men create dating profiles that communicate their personality, highlight their strengths, and give women compelling reasons to take an interest.
